AlwaysHired | Founder, CTO

AlwaysHired is a technical sales boot camp. They train folks in how to enter the world of tech sales and assist with their placement once training is complete.
I was focused on the brick-and-mortar training process. I worked to make the business model truly scale by automating a variety of business processes including, but not limited to, student training. This was a brick-and-mortar to SaaS conversion. We had no internal engineering resources but used a variety of external contractors.

At AlwaysHired, I delivered a business model that introduced automation across a variety of business processes to create a technical sales boot camp. I adapted skills in SaaS to augment and architect an innovative platform. I also ensured compliance with all service-level agreements, quality assurance frameworks, and regulatory guidelines. • Spearheaded a broad range of critical projects varying in scope and complexity.

Dwelo | CTO

At Dwelo, I tailored a home automation integration platform from the ground- up using a combination of Java and Python. I also interfaced with stakeholders to elicit requirements, translate needs to products, and engineer solutions. A standout achievement includes:

• Successfully developed a team of engineers to streamline production and generate several million in funding.

• Engineered organization from a fledgling enterprise to a large-scale entity with a comprehensive team, Series A license, and income stream that accrues millions of dollars in revenue.

ReviewLately.com | Co-Founder, CTO

When I co-founded ReviewLately, I scaled a web platform in Python which aggregated business data to allow clients to ascertain overall verity, wellness, and performance of product holdings. I also spearheaded design, roll-out, and implementation of various user interfaces and infrastructure.

• Successfully co-founded an innovative website specializing in the analysis of online retailer reviews to enable businesses to make informed decisions in regards to the product offerings.

As Software Engineer, I honed my skills in machine learning to foster rules-oriented approaches toward NLP (natural language processing) to improve coverage and accuracy. Enhanced overall runtime efficiency by 40% and subsequently collated savings of over $1M against budget.

Blockery acts as the interface between companies and the blockchain. Companies can integrate through blockery in order to achieve greater development velocity, lower costs, and greater security. No need to stress about storing cryptographic keys. No need to hire expensive blockchain engineers. There is no need to maintain expensive infrastructure. Our easy-to-use API gives you everything you need to create blockchain-enabled products. At Blockery, I cultivated and developed a blockchain integration as a service platform nuanced in macro-economic, crypto market, and product-market fit solutions. Key achievements include:

• Established and operated an independent enterprise in a competitive niche market.

• Reinforced reputation as a consistent top performer committed to best practices.

This was a side project pursued by myself and some folks from the Code for San Francisco volunteer brigade. The main value from this one was for each contributor to hone their skills in a domain they were unfamiliar with, without exposing any entity to meaningful risk. For myself, that was in the CEO role. I acted here as both CTO and CEO.
