Scriptr.io is a robust and scalable multi-cloud platform powering hundreds of applications. Our use cases involve billions of data points per month and manage millions of users. Vertical applications offered include smart city, energy, agriculture, lighting, air quality, parking management, access control, water treatment, etc.

We saw the opportunity to create scriptr.io due to the inherent complexity and absence of standards in the IoT stack in addition to the lack of effective solutions addressing interoperability issues or efficient application creation and delivery. Even today, the IoT landscape remains saturated with "bag of parts" type platforms requiring lengthy and extensive implementation cycles that can’t match the cost-effectiveness of scriptr.io to enable market-ready solutions.

At scriptr.io, I lead the business strategy, go-to-market implementation, channel and evangelization strategies, and the establishment of channel partnerships with major global leaders such as Interdigital, Future Electronics, Multitech, Cradlepoint, Informatica, and others. I equally drove the initial product roadmap and implementation by retrofitting the robust Apstrata API platform with IoT-related subsystems, developer experience, low-code architecture, core semantics, and foundational vertical applications and implemented the product management processes and function.

Regional provider of Digital Transformation solutions, advanced product engineering, IoT, Blockchain, smart contracts, and AI products.

Created the concepts and oversaw the implementation of Autoforms, the flagship Business Process Management software that pioneered low-code business process applications. Designed a formal XML-based language to generate end-to-end applications. Drove the implementation of one of the earliest NoSQL databases in the market (2002).

Managed the transformation of ElementN into a product design and startup factory from 2009 on, we strategized and built dozens of complex products launched out of ElementN (CADStrata, Apstrata, Scriptr.io) or delivered as turnkey to customers with complete staffing, product management processes, and product strategy.

Built sales strategy and successful deployment of customer, employee, and partner-facing applications based on Autoforms to more than 20 MNO OpCos, millions of users, and transactions processed more than $100 million.

2nd largest ISP in Brazil, one of the fastest growing Latin American ISPs and ASPs in 2000 (exited to IG)

Built a 100+ developers strong team to drive the technology and IP creation for various consumer applications. Contributed to the strategy and to growing Super11 into Latin America’s 2nd largest free ISP within 6 months. Created the concept, strategy and technology behind Super11 Application Service Provider (SaaS) to offer web publishing services for 50+ leading publications in Brazil.

Led the business development of the company’s enterprise professional services and distributed products such as Netscape and Broadvision across the MENA region. Conducted feasibility analysis, partner selection, and product design for the company’s e-banking products and other service offerings.

Development of custom industrial control electronics and enterprise solutions (exited in 1998)

Pioneered industrial control design hardware in Lebanon. Pivoted into enterprise internet solutions based on IBM’s Lotus Domino. Solutions included manufacturing automation, power generation plant control, and PABX equipment billing interfaces. Enterprise solutions included ERP, supply chain, customer relationship management, customer support, early e-government services, and more.

Leading B2B video streaming service with a strong IP background (exited to Vignette/OpenText Corp.)

Oversaw the implementation of a wide range of technologies including implementation of the SaaS B2B platform video content management system, and complex high-volume video processing software. Implementation of a pioneering online advertising placement and video editing B2B platform. Drove the creation of an architecture capable of cost-effective scaling and high reliability based on commodity hardware in the data center (pre-cloud), then the initial partnership with AWS. Made significant contributions to the intellectual property portfolio which resulted in more than 12+ patents.
